ive only had one year surf fishing, and Im gonna re spool with braid again. I didn’t want to get super expensive braid, so I’m looking to see if anyone knows if this is decent or not

  1. It seems decent, not great. I’ve been using it for backing quite a bit and fished it a little as a main line. It’s worth what it costs, but wouldn’t pay name brand price for it.

Man you just missed suffix for $20 on a 300y spool.

J braid and power pro are like the only other lines I use. I’ve tried that brand, definitely wasn’t as nice

It can mean the difference between a pissed off day cuz you’re cutting your line cuz of knots or just things going as planned

Don’t get it. It’s very thick, and cheap. I know good braid gets pricey but it’s worth it.

Used this brand all last year fishing on my cat poles & spinning combos with zero issues. Only noticeable thing was the fade on the hi viz yellow. Picked up some 8x strand again for my swimbait setup & it seems fine. Budget option it’s solid. Suffix, power pro or j braid is the good stuff imo.

I’ve used some in 6lb hi vis yellow for trout and it was fine, but it lost its color pretty quickly.

  6. I’ve used Reaction Tackle braid quite a bit over the past few months. I really have no complaints. If I’m spooling one of my cheaper setups, I’ll go Reaction Tackle. For my nicer reels I’ll spend more and go with Sufix or Power Pro V2.
