My old betta moony passed away about six months ago and I ended up getting this boy about two months ago. he was quite gray and sickly and looking on the verge of death in a cup in a pet store (I wish i had photos of him when I got him, but he looked similar to another one of my bettas when I originally got her).
he’s colored up so nicely in that time though and his fins have gotten so long and bright. the iridescent blue scales are just so jaw droppingly beautiful, he’s like a little gem.
