I live in a small town in the Texas Hill Country and only have a Walmart within an hour. I plan to buy the Daiwa Regal LT 3000 and want to pair it with a Daiwa rod (per the many threads I’ve searched). The only 2 they stock are Airx701MFB and a 7’3”. Looking for recommendations

Those to rods are casting rods, i wouldn’t recommend pairing them with a spinning reel.
You can mix and match rods and reels across brands with no issues. I’m currently building a combo with a shimano reel and a Daiwa rod f.ex.
