I'm trying to start crappie fishing more. Everytime I try I feel like im doing something wrong. My setup is a Okuma sst 7'6 light with a Handing 2000 reel 5.2:1 and 6lb mono. Any tips or advice? Im fishing at Isabella Lake in socal.

You just need to put it in the water, not your closet…. Way more fish in the water..
Try a bobber around the submerged trees with those exact jigs and retrieve them at different paces or try some trout magnet I heard those work well amd just regular tube jigs too! Goodluck!
