I have had my betta, dewey, for about 9ish months now. He is from petsmart and has always had some health issues. He is very long finned and struggles to swim a lot, and since i got him has had a curve in his spine from being in his cup. The last few weeks, hes had some issues with bloating and has seemed to have issues keeping himself upright, even flipping completely over. hes wedging himself under plants more and hiding in corners and behind the filter and heater. i moved him into a 5 gal from the 10 gal hes been in recently so he has less space he has to get around, but i dont think its helping him overall. i love him so i think i just want an outside perspective. picture of him is from a few months ago.

I’d just let him live what life he has left.
If he’s having issues with bloating, I’d try feeding daphnia. You can either feed live, frozen or freeze dried, but it acts as a laxative and can help fix bloating issues. You could also try salt baths and increasing the number of fast days, like feeding every other day and just watching to make sure he’s not losing weight.
