My dad found this one washed up in one of our fields after a flood, the creek next to us has lots of gar and musky if that helps.

Also if any knows a good brand or size for new treble hooks to put on it that would be appreciated.

VMC, Mustad, Eagle Claw, Gamakatsu, Owner, BBK, or Sohumi . Some are sharper than others, but all are good hooks, good wire and a good temper on the metal . Look at Barlows Tackle shop, Bass Pro, or Netcraft, for more information, I’m sure are other places that have a good selection of hooks as well.
