The first photo backs up the title very nicely. Went to one of my fishing spots on Saturday after trying for crappie earlier, and caught a decent two pounder on the swim jig. I fished for another hour and a half without a bite, but before I leave I take one last cast with the Nessie. That's when I felt the strike, and set the hook. As I'm reeling this fish in, I'm looking around its jaw for my bait…. and I don't see it. I land the fish, and immediately snap the first photo while saying to myself "It's FUCKING gone!! She wanted that perch colored Nessie, man!"
After getting that first pic, I grabbed my scale to get the weight (picture #2), and the final full body shot (picture #3). Released her back to the water so she can begin her spawn session, then called it a night. So stoked on that catch
