Teacher and angler here from Minnesota. Flying out to Colorado when school gets out for a much needed week of fishing.
I have two kids so I'm trying to take advantage of this time! Here's my plan;
Feel free to leave comments or DM suggestions or tips you have that you don't want to live on Reddit forever. If you ever make a trip to Minnesota (bwca?) or the driftless I would gladly help you in turn.
1st- black canyon of the gunnison. Yep– I'm going in for two nights.
Saturday the 20th is come out of the canyon and do some car camping, probably along the Taylor (2 nights)
Monday the 22nd Im either moving up to Arapaho bay outside of grandby (always liked fishing monarch lake) or move some other place for the last three nights. I've been to Arapaho bay twice or maybe three times. And yes, I do know about a little "secret" in that area.
But, I also think there's a lot to explore and why not go big (hence the black canyon portion).
