Hello I know this is a cheap combo but I want to start using bait casters and this is a cheap one the only problem is I’m a left handed retrieve.There is another one the abu Garcia vengeance but it doesn’t feel as smooth.Would I be able to ignore my left handed retrieve or would you recommend to stick to left hand.

What reel is on the vengeance?
If it’s a black max you’ll do fine.
If you go with a baitcaster make sure to practice casting before you get on the water. It’s not difficult to learn, but there is a steeper learning curve than spinning or closed-face reels.

If you’ve never used a baitcaster id probably get a retrieve you’re more comfortable with, as the learning curve is a bit steeper at first. You’ll get the hang of it, but having more to get used to complicates things
