Saw this at sportsman’s warehouse. I couldn’t find much reviews on this rod and spinning reel combo. Wanted to know if this would be good? I’d mainly be using it for trout. 7’ and light action.

Seems perfectly fine overall. Just be sensitive to your rod action, even though it’s light action, the longer rod will have a lot of power in short hooksets, so remember to lift gently.

The price truly reflects the quality with Abu. But it’s fine for a beginner.

I have this in a mh. 2500 size. I think you’ll love it. Its been a work horse for me on cat duty
