At first I assumed it died because someone was using live bait but then i looked it up and saw that sometimes LMB can die from being overly opportunistic and basically biting off more than the can chew. Prey can become lodged in their mouth or gills or if they are spiny can cause damage, and they can even break their jaw going for a meal too big. What do yall think?

Looks like how I feel after thanksgiving.
Found a nice walleye choking on a shad when I was a kid, barely clinging to life, floating at the top. Dad scooped it up and it went in the cooler lol
Found a dead 3 lbs largie with a 1 lbs largie stuck in it’s throat one time … they are voracious when it comes to eating … another time I caught one with a dead snake it is mouth … still went for my crank even though it hadn’t finished its last meal …
I feel like this is normal. He just wasn’t lucky enough to have a fisherman come yank the oversized meal out of him.
Someone must have taken a picture with it and didn’t support the body well enough!
bit off a little more than he could chew
It’s not ok for a man to cry, ever, except if you see that.
Let it bro iss all good
