Caught multiple 5’s over the year but I can’t seem to get that big girl over 6lbs any tips?

My only tip.. just keep at it. Plus you have to fish water where that is a possibility.

  2. I know some of my spots definitely hold bigger fish. I’ve seen pics of 8’s and my buddy’s have caught 6’s out of some of these places but either I’m just not throwing in the right spot or wrong choice of bait. Crazy cause two of my 5’s were caught with a ultralight bait like they almost prefer either a really easy snack or one big meal ie big ole swim bait chugging along

  3. For months I’ve been catching nothing but small ones. I’ve been concerned what the hell happened to the larger ones because I’ve caught them in my spot before. I’ve been throwing every expensive lure at my spots and just small one after small one.

Last night I noticed I had some hotdogs going bad so figured I’d use them to catch some bluegill all evening. [Then this monster bass hit a piece of damn hotdog instead of my expensive lures lol.](https://imgur.com/a/UBfIem9) Of course when I’m not even trying lol. Didn’t get a weight because scale is broken but it was 27″ long.

What’s your location? 6lbs is not uncommon in the South.

In the North? Those are once every couple of years type fish for the most part.
