Salt,curing salt, and garlic powder. Let them expel in fridge about a hour roll in new papertowels with more saltcombo and freeze. Now you got bloodworm hot dogs all season.

  1. Awesome reminder, thank you! I put my leftovers in the freezer for a quick kill and to keep them in stasis until I got to them. Didn’t think to add garlic powder, good call.

    You know what’s best about cured bloodworms? They can’t bite back!

    Actually, if you hold them just in front of the jaws I found they can’t expel them to bite with. So there’s that.
