Where's the Great Lakes yak anglers here? The ones that wait for that onshore wind to die down, slobbering at the mouth when you see that "Fish Green" warm water onshore chomping at the bit to get out there?
Made a new fishing buddy, with his first Great Lakes Brown Trout. All the rivers are thawing out, and as soon as the floods subside, the Alewife will be coming in, with all the Spring Kings, Steelhead & Brownies in feed mode.
And yeah, layers, and with the water temps in the 40's, best to go out with a buddy.
