Im trying to decide between the Daiwa Tatula X TW 100 vs Fuego CT.
Im confused because they are both listed as $150 MSRP on Daiwas sight, and the only difference i can see in their comparison chart is the fuego has a bit more drag, and insignificant ratio difference.(7:3:1 vs 7:1:1)
Does anyone know whats the real difference or have recommendations on choosing 1 vs the other?

I think for the money that fuego has to be the best there is. If the only real difference is the t-wing I would go fuego all day over the tatula ct. the t wing is nice, but not a real selling feature for me. The Tatula is built like a tank though, the Fuego is solid too but the Tatula is a solid reel. Overall I would go the Fuego route.

Doesnt quite come close in technology. I haven’t held a fuego or used one but I can tell you the tatula x is the best reel in the 150 price range in my personal opinion.
Tatula has the better breaking system plus their twing system.
I picked up the 25 Tatula 100 SVTW with hyperdrive when it dropped for $160. Amazing reel and proper successor to the 103 SVTW. SV spool is the biggest reason to go with a Daiwa imo, almost unbacklashable.
As someone who bought a fuego for what the cost of a tatula is rn, go tatula. The time you’ll get back not backlashing or snapping off lures (after learning how to cast properly) is worth it
