This little fish I saw at Petco almost makes me question if she even is a betta and what type she is. I’ve never seen one so tiny and it was just labeled “assorted female”.

Sadly, Petco even offers to ship baby Bettas on their website… I’ve seen some pretty tiny fry in some stores as well.
