Started my morning off at the spillway but didn’t catch any because it was the first day back on, lol. Moved to another spot and landed the first one. Started sprinkling so I headed home.
Waited till about 2:30 and went back out while I waited for me little one to return to the school from a field trip. Fished the north side of the canal but didn’t get a bite. Drove down to the opposite end and fished the chase baits curly vibe and hit one on the first cast. I landed about 5 in total but I posted the biggest two. I lost a nice one just before I called it because it was about to pour down.
It was a good day ya’ll.
