Hello everyone!!
I set up a small aquarium in a vase on my plant shelf. I took the water and plants from my small pond in the front yard. I have lots of critters in there, from a couple of tadpoles (that will be moved outside as they get older) to water fleas and Azteca shrimp. I did end up moving a dragonfly larvae back outside so he didn't eat the whole tank!
The bulk of the plants is Java moss, with some duckweed sprinkled on top. The bottom has an inch or so of soil with another inch of sand on that.
My goal is to keep it going with no care aside from water top ups for 6 months, let's see if it will make it! Luckily if it begins to struggle at all I can dump it back into the pond and let it recover.
