Hello! I am new to fishkeeping and have a male alien half moon betta In a 10 gallon community tank (havent decided a name yet but want it to start with A) and he was the last fish introduced to the tank, i have 6 pygmy corys 3 black neon tetra, a platinum longbeak, and the betta, the betta keeps frilling and chasing 1 of the tetra but never attacking, should i remove the tetra because thats the only thing hes attacking or give it more time because these fish have been together only a day? And if this tank can work what plants shoukd be purchased

Neon tetras are schooling fish and need at least 6 fish in a small school otherwise they get stressed
I would give it some time but the neon might actually start nipping at the betta once they get more comfortable
Lots of plant coverage should fix this but if it doesnt you may need to separate.
If your betta is just following and not nipping it might lose interest. But if the betta starts nipping you should separate them.
It’ll be absolutely perfect once you get rid of the other fish with the betta…. You shouldn’t have 6 corys, a betta, and tetras in there. Also, bettas aren’t guaranteed to enjoy having tankmates.
edit: also, platinum longbeaks should be in groups in tanks like 15 gallons ++……
You overcrowded the hell out of this tank. Longbeaks stress bettas out.
