Out of these two test strips, which one is the better one to start out with as a base. The one on the left is tap, and the one on the right was filtered with a zero water filter. This is my first ever aquarium so I’m feeling a little lost😅

filtered is much better, your hardness and ph are very high
It depends on the fish you want to add! Some prefer hard alkaline water and some prefer soft acidic
For betta filtered sounds way better, they will like soft slightly acidic water. If you plan on shrimp and snails, however, go with tap!
