HELP what are these? At first we found one, then 2, then another one…… we’ve gone through the entire tank and there seems to be only 4….. I have ONE mystery snail in my tank where they were found and they were all burying themselves in the sand to get away from my evil goldfish. Don’t worry they’re in their own tank now – but who are they? What are they? Why are they?

They’re ramshorn snails. They likely snuck in as teeny tiny babies stuck on plants or something you added to your tank.
these guys are probably “pest” snails, they’re just called that cuz they reproduce rapidly and asexually. theyre pretty much harmless and if they start to overpopulate just stick a cucumber slice in ur tank, wait for them all to crawl onto it, and then take it out lol… just don’t put them into any water supply
Just found one in my son’s tank this morning! Good to know. I removed it but not sure what to do with it now. It’s in a cup.
