A gentlemen is asking 225 for a st croix/ross Colorado set up. I usually buy my gear second hand, but this would be a bit older than the normal gear I spring for. Any thoughts?

This is absolutely worth 225 to me. Disassemble, clean, and lubricate the reel. Clean and oil the rod ferrules, and you’ve got some good shit.

I have the next size up in that reel and it’s a favorite!
Pro tip- you want to use both springs to keep it from spinning too freely. You’ll need to bend the 90angles out a bit to be able to stack them.
