I have a pflueger trion and the handle is limper than a wet noodle.
And the cap on the opposite side that would tighten it down does nothing.
It still spins, it still spools line, but I don’t like the play in this handle.
Does anyone know how to remedy this?

Crank it counter clockwise and it tightens itself.
I could be very wrong but I think there’s a washer where the cap is and I believe when they ware out this can happen. That the shaft itself is worn out idk but it’s not staying tight.
This is the way it comes new in the box. Straighten out the handle and rotate it clockwise until it’s snug. You should be good to go.
Hold the spool and bail and crank it forward. May need to hold the nob on the other side if it spins too. Make sure to adjust the angle as it tightens so it pulls flush.
