I just added sweet potato (gold ranchu) back into the main tank last night after being in the hospital tank for a few weeks. However, squishy (orange ranchu) has been bullying sweet potato since. It’s the same behavior I noticed when sweet potato had first gotten injured.
Is there a way to stop squishy from bullying sweet potato so much?

I feel so bad for sweet potato, can you take squishy and give him a talking to and put in jail?
Add more of this fish. But you will need bigger aquarium
Be sure that the fish has the ability to tell a trusted adult about it
Unfortunately this is why 2 is the worst number of fish to have. Its why everyone recommends 1 OR 3+ for most species, unless they’re shoaling or schooling then its more.
2 allows one to become dominant and bully the only other fish around. Without any break, 3 allows him to spread his aggression around at least and mitigate it.
