Urgent care is a shit show so I had time to talk to the local subway for a snack at least…..

Apparently there is a needle trick to remove a barbed hook from your hide. Be careful out there yall!

This is why I like to crimp my barbs- that and it’s better for the fish I release. Glad you got it all sorted out!
How much did it cost you to get them to take it out?
If you can, in the future you can push the hook through your thumb past the barb, and then cut the hook and easily slide it out.
