Weird thing in aquarium. Stuck to filter vinyl tube. Tank mates are nerite snails, pond snails, and I think a ramshorn snail. Located in California.

Midge fly egg mass. I’d remove it ASAP because once they hatch they’re quite a pain to get rid of and the larvae make these ugly little tubes of dirt to live in all over the tank lol.
