I spent 3 days camping and fishing in the Crooked River in Central Oregon. It was my first time fly fishing. I caught 5 about this size and a couple more smaller ones. Hours and hours of living being in the setting, in the river, working on technique. I don’t know any more than what I’ve gleaned from YouTube.
Definitely gonna upgrade the net and get sole proper washing boots before the next outing.
