Don't know if anyone has ever been to Paines Prairie in Gainesville, but this place is always fun. This is probably my 8th time coming but I've never been when the water was so low. I've been here when it was so so flooded that the water was up to the walkway, never seen it this low. Seemed like all the alligators were in this one spot, they also were EATING EACH OTHER! I love nature

Still totally crazy to me people be out there kayaking and even fishing when giant murder reptiles could just be right there when you go to land a fish.
I was gonna say, let go fishing haha. we can make some gator jerky
I’m here in SE Louisiana taking the yak out all over here, generally for reds. I’m always trying new places and I’ve never had a problem with them. The smaller 3 to 5 foot ones get curious and will pop their heads up occasionally and check you out but the big ones always seem to keep their distance. And there is a lot of them here too.
