There is an unreal amount of product choice on the market, I totally agree!
I recently purchase a similar pair of combos for myself.
I love the way the Nasci feels!
I personally opted for the Daiwa Tatula X TW over the Shimano SLX A reel you’re looking at.
I’m not familiar with the rod brand you’ve got there.
But from all the extensive research I did before I bought anything. I highly doubt there will be much, if any, regret in these purchases.
I think it’s going to be the more user friendly overall. I’m not all that confident with my bait casting skills honestly and I’m still learning.
But the spinning combo in my opinion would be the best option to “get you fishing” without headaches.
I have 10lb braid on mine.
