Most of the works are elastomer material and I’ve always had trouble rigging them correctly. Tips? Advice?

  1. I think it’s from fishing night crawlers in bluegill infested waters but I’m also so paranoid about leaving them that long

Looks great! Don’t be afraid to bury that eye in there, especially with that elaztech. If you are using a bullet weight it won’t knock into the knot.

Can’t tell on your pic, but as a general rule, whenever I’m Texas rigging zman or similar stretchy plastic, i use a little less of a tuck when I’m texposing the hook. Weedless is great, but catching fish is better. I run my finger down the worm’s spine like I’m petting it to see how much pressure it takes to catch the hook through the plastic. A tiny sliver of that stuff goes a long way.

They will fish for sure. A tip for better hook up ratio on weedless presentation like that is to bend the hook so the barb isn’t in line with the shaft. Best way I can explain is to hold the hook with the barb side up in one hand and bend the barb east or west slightly.

Also with worms if you add a but more meat before putting the barb through on t rig it gives it a little bend between the eye and the barb which adds more action to the bait when you retrieve, works nice in warmer water temps when they are ready to chase.

Some of the hooks look a little small for the worms, but they look rigged just fine
