Was fishing out on the lake for about 3 hrs , with the sunlight quickly fading. Threw a wacky rigged senko and got a bite to avoid the skunk but broke my tip..

You avoided the skunk & found the perfect excuse to buy a new rod
If that fish broke your rod then the tip was already cracked and waiting to break.
