Things are FINALLY rolling in the Hudson Valley, at least from the shore. And more importantly, I FINALLY broke out of the 3s! (Not that I'm complaining about catching lots of 3s, I love 3s) but boy this was an unforgettable catch. 4lbs 1oz!
We were working our way back to the parking lot when we decided to stop and cast at some little baitfish popups as it was near sunset. As soon as my 4.8 Keitech on an underspin hit the water it got absolutely demolished. When I saw this beast jump a few feet in the air I knew I had something great. Can't wait to get out there and try to find me an even bigger one, but for now, I'm just happy I was able to land this beautiful hog. Tight lines!
