This is perfect, don’t worry! Bettas prefer to have lots of hiding spaces so a tank like this with multiple hides and many plants is great. My only criticisms would be; I don’t see a heater or filter, they may just be obscured in the photo but bettas need both. I’m always wary of any petstore deco so I’d double check that little castle for any sharp points inside and out and make sure its material is smooth so it doesn’t scrape the betta. And bettas are little suicidal idiots who will try to stuff themselves into any space they find so I’d remove that small shell, plus shells can increase the hardness of the water

Definitely not overdoing it! You can never have enough plants, hiding spots and enrichment. This is my 10 gallon betta tank for example 😁
