My son was given what looks to be a make your own lures set up from our neighbors after their dad passed.
I can figure my way through most of the parts but two have me stumped and I’m curious if anyone knows what they are.
What are these u shaped metal pieces with holes in each side used for?

Clevis for spinners. Probably the small ones for inline spinners (think Rooster Tail) and the larger for spinnerbaits
A blade goes around that horse shoe and then a thin wire goes thru both holes for an inline spinner bait

They’re for holding spinner blades onto a shaft. They are called clevises.
Those are spare bail arms for ants.
In line spinners are pretty easy to make yourself (for you or your son) and are a great multi species lure. The only thing you need for tools is a pair of needle nose or round nose pliers. There are tons of videos online and most of the parts you can cannibalize if it doesn’t work. Smaller ones are will be good for trout/panfish, larger ones for bass.
