Watching YouTube videos got me into bass fishing, so I picked up a KastKing baitcaster combo. It came with the rod and reel, but I need line and bait to get started. The tutorial videos make line choices confusing. Some guys say braid is good, while others tell beginners to use monofilament. I want to practice casting in my yard and avoid bird nests. Tell me what pound line to buy. Please name a heavy lure to tie on for grass practice.
