Unsure if this post is allowed but have any anglers found good ways to prevent ticks while hiking. I wet wade and wear pants in the water but curious if there’s any natural ways to prevent ticks all over my legs. Permethrin is toxic in the water I’ve heard just curious is there’s any other remedies like natural oils people use that won’t harm the waters I love.

They are ticks. Dress appropriately. Remove promptly.
My buddy has been treating his pants with permethrin and he says it works pretty well. Gonna try it this year since I got bit twice by deer ticks last year and the other day pulled SIX dog ticks out of my pant cuffs after fishing
