Betta Fish: Peacock the after school daycare fish ❤️

I’m an Animal Ecology major student, and I work in childcare, so I love taking every opportunity I can to blend the two together and teach everything I can about wildlife and conservation.

Today, we finally got to welcome our first pet in to the learning space!!
The kids are over the moon, and I’m so excited to share this experience with my fellow betta keepers!!
Peacock was the final name chosen through a name draw, and I think it suits him pretty well xx

Some of the name that we went through afterwards definitely deserve some recognition though.

– Fish

This project is completely funded by me, so please bear with the lack of greenery—I’ll be getting more with each paycheck I get.
