I only got back into fishing 3-4 wks ago and have been playing around with a few different things.

Found one side of the lake where the bass are at and they’re devouring weightless Texas rig 4in senkos…

I watch kids out there all week with spinners, poppers, cranks, etc and hardly ever see them land anything. Should I steer them in the right direction or just keep it to myself?

Educate the lads. Hopefully you’re there to see their faces when they land one……

If you enjoy that spot and you don’t have any others no, if you have a lot of different spots you can get too and fish then absolutely. Sometimes you give kids advice and they don’t take it but it’s worth the shot.

If they’re kids, I’m happy to share. I’ll give em a couple lures even. Seeing kids outdoors fishing is always awesome to see

Educate the next generation. Nothing more rewarding than watching a kid bag his first one.

  5. I asked myself the same question when im slaying the bass around people who have spent thousands on kayaks or boats. Then there’s me, in my 200 dollar kayak, a bolted on rod holder and slaying the fish one after the next.
