Would this rig work for large mouth bass? Also, I have fished here and there through out my life and never really learned the proper way to rig line. Will this set up work at all?

Some days a bare hook will get hammered and some days the perfect lure won’t get a sniff. I can see this getting hit for sure

You don’t need the under weighted hook and a bullet sinker. Get rid of the bullet sinker with the paddle tail imo, the under weight hook works well with those.

That’ll work, but I’d use a hook without the weight on the bottom. Texas rig, look it up it’ll help tell you how to rig but that’s basically it

are you fishing this with an ice fishing pole or just testing things?

Ditch the barrel swivel, uni to uni knot is easy to learn. It’s what I use for my leaders. As far as this rig goes you don’t need both a belly weight and a bullet weight, one or the other would be fine. In my experience belly weighted hooks work better with swimbaits than bullet weights, they keep the bait upright and keep your line from twisting

Build confidence with it and it will probably catch something. Looks good to me. If you are fishing shallow water you can try without the extra weight. But I like it
