I am prepping a tank for my new betta and i am trying to find a safe place to put it. I originally had it on my bookshelf and filled it but it just felt unsafe (hence why there is a little bit of water left in tank).
I moved it to my bedroom on top of my dresser. My dresser says it can hold up to 125lbs on top. It didn’t come with wall anchors but rather there’s little black feet/slabs. It pretty sturdy and doesn’t rock when I open the drawers. Currently on top I just have my WiFi router and modem so not a lot of weight on top other than the tank.
Is this a good safe place for my tank. Any advice would be appreciated!

The bookshelf was probably safe. It’s only 6 gallons. Like 50 pounds max after rock and sand and equipment.
People put a 10g on things half as sturdy and it lasts years
Placement by light switch might have people accidentally drop something or trace chemicals in it
