This was a first for me. I’m fishing a minnow 7D (I forget the mfr) and get hit by a decent 5-6lb lmb. As I’m lifting it out of the water to lip it, the lure bill broke and I lost the fish of course. Problem is, I could see the lure, which has two trebles, was hooked in each treble.
I feel pretty bad bc that fish is probably going to die now. I guess this is less of a question, but more of a reminder to check your older lures.
