Hi everyone!
This is my betta that is in my preschool classroom now, and his name is Dragon. We just got him in his tank today, and wanted to hear any advice or recommendations! I love this little guy and want to give him the best life possible!
He is a Dragonscale Male, and is in a 6 gallon tank, all live plants and I sanded down any sharper parts of the decor inside the tank 🥰

this is an INCREDIBLE first setup !!!
live plants? 6gallons? you’re doing amaizng so far!!
I’d worry kids will tap on the glass, other than that, he’s living a good life AND you’re teaching whoever sees this tank that THIS is normal and good.
I’m no betta expert, I just wanted to praise you for this awesome work
Google “nitrogen cycle aquarium coop” and watch the YouTube video
Just be sure there aren’t crevices he could squeeze into and get stuck, they do that
Looks amazing, you seem like you know what you are doing! So safe to say it’s heated and you familiarized yourself with the nitrogen cycle?
