I have a lew’s speed caster that I bought at dick’s sporting goods a few years ago and as I was about to get it ready to go fishing tmr I found it in 2 pieces where it looks like there’s supposed to be a fishing eye but I can’t find it and I don’t know if it’s actually broken or not, the rod slides inside the top black epoxy section in the picture a decent amount, I’m thinking about super glueing it or smth temporary so I can use it tmr and then figure out a fix, what should I do?

push it back in with a slight twist, might just be a 2 piece rod my friend. Just make sure the guides are lined up.
I think this is just a 2 pc rod and is meant to come apart? Can’t tell if you’re missing a guide from the video

They are really convenient for traveling.
Probably best suited to take it back to dicks and focus on printing…

Really looks like a 2 piece rod design and seems like the friction material wore out.
A little bit of super glue helps that out short term
