Do they not have length regulations where you’re at? That top one looks maybe 4 inches long.
Even here in BC in the lakes there is no min size limit.
That area has an insane amount of mercury and environmental pollutants in the water. I think the recommendation is like 1 trout per month to be at safe levels.

Yeah bud so…. Maybe let the juveniles go? I get that adults only get to be ~10” up in the alpine lakes so we’re not shaming you for eating fish but damn, I only see one food fish on that plate.
