Can only access this part of the creek from this and one other similar access point slightly further up the creek. Both access points are on same side of the creek where there is not much structure. Most of the rest of the creek is private land there is just these two small parks to fish from. The bank can get quite high so I am not sure certain lures will be viable with such a high angle on the line.

This part of the system should hold Bream, Cod, Flathead and Mangrove Jack. I’ll take what I can get.

I don’t think I can cast far enough to reach the branches of cover of the other side of the bank. The current can get quite strong.

I was thinking sinking lures. Maybe something like Zerek Zappelin or metal blade vibes. Or soft plastic with 1/4 jig heads doing a hop and pause action. Or floating frog??

If I use bait (only have access to frozen baits like prawns, mullet and pilchards) what sort of rigging do I use? Like what size sinker and hook and leader. So far I have not done much bait fishing only lure fishing but I am willing to try because I found this spot like a 5 minute walk from home so easy for me.
