First time throwing the new reel I got today and I finally got my first chop block bite to go with it.
Fishing Gear Does anyone with a 1000/2000 Daiwa feel like the handle is too short? I’m trying to find a reel for my light rod but I really don’t like the rotating circumference. Feels like it’s meant for ants compared to all my other reels. Even my Chinese 1000’s have a bigger handle.February 24, 2026
