Fly Fishing First fish of 2025 was a 22-inch New Zealand Brown Trout caught in the Tasman area of the South Island. I spotted 10 different trout during the day, which is very good for New Zealand. If my trout stalking skills had been so rusty, I would have caught more. I’m fortunate to travel in retirement.January 6, 2025
