I have a 240L / 64 gallon tank and one male betta, as long as he’s alive that’ll be the case! But been considering getting a female after him, and was curious about people’s different experiences with males and females. All males I’ve had have been very social, always follow people walking past the aquarium and are generally interactive. The only females I’ve seen have always been in sororities, and they’ve seemed by far less interested in humans on the other side of the glass, but I figured that might be on account of being distracted with all the fishes around them?
