So, about a week ago my betta, Chuck, died. I ended up getting a King Betta and named him Patches O'Houlihan (due to the marbling). Chuck was normally fed about 4-6 top fin pellets. He also received bloodworms and whatnot, but the pellets were the daily food. I tried to feed Patches about the same despite his larger size because the rule is the size of the eye. Patches is a straight glutton. He inhales the food rapid fire and wants more. I've given him up to 10, but it still doesn't seem to be enough. I have sinking pellets for my pygmy which he will pick up and carry around, trying to bite a piece off. Is this normal for a king, and should I be feeding him more?
I've included pics of him carrying the wafer. I also included pics of when I got him and his color starting to change as a bonus. While at it I threw in a pic of Chuck. R.I.P.
