So ya boy here was found floating upside down in the tank I'm cycling, it's only a few weeks old so I thought he'd died but he reacted when I nudged him, I led a floating plant to him, he latched on but then let go after a minute or 2 and is back to floating? I only have him in this tank with one other tiny snail and a few plants? Why is he doing this? Is it a bad sign?

  1. Bladder snails do this in search of food, most likely biofilm. He is still a snail God though-

Bladder snails are called that because they have an air bladder that allows them to float, not to mention they’re so small and slimy they might not even break the surface tension.
